The DOIT provides multiple agencies with an opportunity to share information and intelligence on law enforcement activities in the Delta. 01.19.21 SN: Delta Officers Intelligence Team (DOIT) meetings happening every year, especially November and September. 10.29.2020 Consider reaching out directly to boating and waterways. PREVIOUS ADMIN DASHBOARD NOTES Law enforcement agencies meet once per month to strategize and share resources with regards to the marine patrol strategy. There have been no updates to the strategy as of 8/22/16. The Delta Protection Commission has convened a Delta-focused Abandoned Vessel Working Group since 1995. Since 2013, the group meets quarterly. Participants to the group include the five Delta Counties' Marine Patrol Units, the US Coast Guard, State Parks' Division of Boating and Waterways, State Lands Commission, USFWS, and others. Partnering with the U.S. Coast guard, the DPC has created and populates a database that identifies and maps Delta abandoned vessels. (Katrina consultant communicated with Adele Lagomarsino, DPC, on 8/22/16). Internal notes: It is not clear if CSP/Dept. of Boating and Waterways is the appropriate primary agency for this PM. DBW is involved in the abandoned vessels work, but they do not work on the marine control strategy according to Lagomarsino of the DPC (8/22/16).  Consider DPC or other supporting agency as a more appropriate primary. 5/2019: There is an active marine patrol strategy group call the Delta Officers Intelligence Team or DOIT that meets monthly. The USCG facilitates this DOIT for the Bay and Delta out of Rio Vista.(Eddie Hard,CSP, email 05/23/2019). DPC Spring 2019 Delta Voice: The Delta Officers Intelligence Team (DOIT) provides multiple agencies with an opportunity to share information and intelligence on law enforcement activities in the Delta.","Chris Kwan|Denise Peterson|Erik Vink|Adele Lagomarsino"
