Administrative Measures

Administrative performance measures describe decisions made by policymakers and managers to finalize plans or approve resources (e.g., funds, personnel, projects) for implementation of a program or group of related programs. The administrative measures are near-term decisions and consist of actions identified by Delta Plan policies and recommendations.

Status of administrative measures is categorized as:  

• Complete when the objective of the recommended management action was achieved.  
• On Schedule for an action that is on track toward its goal with progress levels at: 1-25%, 26-50%, 51-75%, and 76-99%.
• Ongoing for recurring actions without a specific schedule or date of completion. 
• Behind Schedule for actions not completed by its target date.
• Out of alignment for measures that do not align with current Delta Plan recommendations or with current partner agencies management objectives and frameworks.

The portfolio of administrative, output and outcome measures allows partner agencies, and others with an interest in the Delta, to evaluate how well the goals and objectives defined in the Delta Plan are being achieved and to detect environmental or administrative changes due to implementation of policies and recommendations in the Delta Plan.

The updated portfolio of performance measures was adopted by the Council in June 2022 as Appendix E of the Delta Plan.
