The Delta Protection Commission completed an National Heritage Area Feasibility Study in 2012 and submitted to Congress an application to designate the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta and Suisun Marsh as a National Heritage Area (NHA). For more information on the NHA, please see DP R01-02.
